The Chronicles of Portlandia

And so the day did come when the peasants of the Rose Kingdom were to be allowed in the presence of the Wizard Potter and one of the Jedi Council, a pompous knight name Sam the Silly. A roar went out amongst the villagers: “This will be our chance to ask these wise men why the Beast of Many Wires should be built at all, when there is no money to teach the kids." A Great Hall was booked and all did look forward to some transparency from the rulers of the Kingdom.
What’s this? Another of the Jedi Council, one Randy the Duped, has spewed much venom on a knave named Matt, saying this knave has lied to the Jedi Council? Could the ugliness get worse? Wait, there’s more. Randy the Duped has also accused the Lords of the Forbidden Castle of wrongdoing? And so the Beast of Many Wires has become the Beast of Many Lies.
Now the Lords of the Forbidden Castle have rebuked Randy the Duped: “Are you not our servants? Does the Jedi Council not exist to do our bidding? The problems here are not in our stars, but in your mismanagement, our underlings.”
All was ugly in the Rose Kingdom. Accusations flew on every breeze. Surely, it was now time for the peasants to get their turn to speak? You remember? At the meeting with Wizard Potter and Sam the Silly? Alas the answer was no, for the big meeting in the Great Hall has been “postponed.” Oh, such drama. Such ugliness. The peasants wondered why so much gold went to these men for this plan? "These men can be replaced, can’t they?" the villagers asked. And the citizens of the Rose Kingdom muttered to themselves and plotted their revenge.
