Fundamental Laws More Like Suggestions

I have a new pick for a band name: The Varying Constants. Okay, it's kind of dry but have you checked out the latest from our physics friends? First there was Albert Einstein's recently released letters that revealed an active sex life - apparently he got the idea for an expanding universe from watching his penis. But now there's a much bigger surprise: Some of his theories are in trouble because of Inconstant Constants. This plays right into the Creationists' hands. They can claim the reason light traveled 12 billion light years in 6000 years was a different speed of light, although the differences are not believed to be that great. There's also talk of other dimensions to explain behaviors. That's always a little tough. I thought we'd moved on from String Theory but apparently there were a few strings attached. Oh, I give up. The universe is an extremely weird place. Firesign Theater said it best many years ago: "Everything You Know Is Wrong." Enjoy.

There is no entropy - it is merely that we fail to perceive the order.

Gorok, I hope you heard your shout-out on the Born to Slack show. Word for word this is the heaviest sounding comment thus far.
